EFCC invites Arik Air Chairman for questioning





 

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) invited the Chairman of trouble airline, Arik Air, Joseph Arumemi-Ikhide on Wednesday February 8, 2017 to answer a series of questions.



Confirming the event, Arik Air in a statement by its spokesman, Adebanji Ola disclosed that EFCC only visited to have a meeting with the chairman.
  “Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, 8 February 2017 visited Arik Air’s head office,” his statement disclosed.
He said further,
 “They held a brief meeting with Chairman of Arik Air, Sir Joseph Arumemi-Ikhide after which the Chairman visited their Ikoyi, Lagos office for further discussions and to respond to their enquiries. Having satisfactorily answered the query, the Chairman later left the EFCC office.”
The airline has been facing numerous challenges in recent months ranging from delayed payment of workers salary, debt to aviation fuel suppliers, delayed and cancelation of flights amongst others.

I walked out of Wal Mart today and got in my car. As I began to pull out, I had to wait for a man in a wheelchair to pass by. As I watched him, I noticed that he was missing his right leg from the knee down and was wearing, what appeared to be, old, government issued, combat boots. He was (from my guess) in his late sixties/early seventies and seemed to be stopping to take a break. He had not realized that I had started my car and was attempting to pull out, so when he saw me, he waved in an apologetic manner and rolled forward three more times and took another break. I backed up my car the inches I had previously pulled forward, put it in park, turned off the engine, and got out. I walked up to him and introduced myself. Missing 7-year-old girl found dead with multiple matchet cuts in a bush in Osun State

A 7-year-old girl, who was declared missing days ago was found dead in a bush in Iree Town, Osun State. The spokesperson of the Osun Sate Police Command, Mrs Folashade Odoro, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, February 15th, in Osogbo, said the body was discovered near a sawmill by Chief Oluode of Iree and later reported to the police. "Upon receiving the information, police quickly deployed a search party to the scene and the body was discovered with visible matchet cuts" Mrs Odoro said the case is being investigated as a possible murder as police suspected a foul play in the circumstance surrounding the death of the girl. Alexandr Morgan Wheeler believes she found her angel outside a local Walmart. The 21-year-old from Fayetteville, West Virginia, met a man who was struggling to cross the street Wednesday. Once she spotted him, she felt the urge to get out and ask if she could assist him, but the man, who she believes is in his 60s or 70s, said he didn’t need any help. That didn’t stop her from insisting on wheeling him into the store. As they walked, they found out about each other's lives.
