Newly  elected  Executives of Olaukwu Central Youth                  Organisation were inaugurated  on the 26th of November 2016 at the Olaukwu sectariat. The occasion was grace by His Royal Highness Eze A.H Ekeocha, Ola mma 1 of Olaukwu, the Olaukwu Community Development Union (OCDU) and Youth Representatives from villages.                                The youth president of Olaukwu Ogwumike Daniel  A.  re- iterated the desire of his team to restore and sustain enabling environment that encourages social values for all especially our youth . Let's think of what we can do for Olaukwu to move forward like  Community self development efforts. Rome was not built in a day.

An old King realized that if he died he had no one to take over his throne. He decided to adopt a son. He launched a competition and 10 boys made it to the top. The King said to them, "I have one last test and whoever comes top will become my adopted son and heir to my throne". He gave each boy a seed of corn and told them to take the seed home, plant and nurture it for 3 weeks. The 10 boys took their seeds and ran home to plant their seeds. In one home, the boy and his parents were sad when the seed failed to sprout. The boy had diligently done everything required but he failed. So I went to my alma Mater after almost 20 years...and almost died of joy (photos)

So I went to my alma mater, Lagos Anglican Girls Grammar School in Surulere, last week, and I can't tell you guys how amazing and nostalgic it was for me. This was my secondary school...I attended LAGGS from 1991 to 1997, and returning 20 years later (though I visited there in 2010) to meet the new students of the school is one of those feelings you can't describe. I visited LAGGS in continuation of my 'Selfmade Secondary School Tour for girls', and it's so far the most memorable of my tour. The girls were so warm, welcoming and were in awe of me...lol. It was amazing just talking to them and answering their questions and I pray I made an impact. The School's VP was going to take me round the school to show me changes they have made since I left almost 20 years back, but we had to stop when other students started screaming from inside their classrooms when they saw me...lol.
