Newly  elected  Executives of Olaukwu Central Youth                  Organisation were inaugurated  on the 26th of November 2016 at the Olaukwu sectariat. The occasion was grace by His Royal Highness Eze A.H Ekeocha, Ola mma 1 of Olaukwu, the Olaukwu Community Development Union (OCDU) and Youth Representatives from villages.                                The youth president of Olaukwu Ogwumike Daniel  A.  re- iterated the desire of his team to restore and sustain enabling environment that encourages social values for all especially our youth . Let's think of what we can do for Olaukwu to move forward like  Community self development efforts. Rome was not built in a day.

The Federal Government has announced a take over of Arik Airline, which has recently been experiencing difficulties. According to the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, the government’s decision to take over the management of Arik Airlines would stabilise its operations, enhance its long term economic value, revitalise its ailing operations, and sustain safety standards, in view of its pivotal role in the Nigerian aviation sector. The intervention, according to the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), clearly underscores the government’s commitment to instilling sanity in the country’s aviation sector and prevent a major catastrophe. I walked out of Wal Mart today and got in my car. As I began to pull out, I had to wait for a man in a wheelchair to pass by. As I watched him, I noticed that he was missing his right leg from the knee down and was wearing, what appeared to be, old, government issued, combat boots. He was (from my guess) in his late sixties/early seventies and seemed to be stopping to take a break. He had not realized that I had started my car and was attempting to pull out, so when he saw me, he waved in an apologetic manner and rolled forward three more times and took another break. I backed up my car the inches I had previously pulled forward, put it in park, turned off the engine, and got out. I walked up to him and introduced myself. EFCC invites Arik Air Chairman for questioning

  Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) invited the Chairman of trouble airline, Arik Air, Joseph Arumemi-Ikhide on Wednesday February 8, 2017 to answer a series of questions. Confirming the event, Arik Air in a statement by its spokesman, Adebanji Ola disclosed that EFCC only visited to have a meeting with the chairman.   “Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, 8 February 2017 visited Arik Air’s head office,” his statement disclosed. He said further,  “They held a brief meeting with Chairman of Arik Air, Sir Joseph Arumemi-Ikhide after which the Chairman visited their Ikoyi, Lagos office for further discussions and to respond to their enquiries.
