So I went to my alma mater, Lagos Anglican Girls Grammar School in Surulere, last week, and I can't tell you guys how amazing and nostalgic it was for me. The governor of Ebonyi state, Engr David Umahi has ordered the release of N500,000 to the Mr Chijoke Oraku who was brutalized by soldiers for wearing camouflage in Anambra state and also demanded the dismissal and prosecution of the two soldiers. In a statement released by Ebonyi state Chief Press Secretary, Emma Anya, the governor said that the 21 days punishment given to soldiers was too mild and demanded their immediate dismissal from the force. “I suggest to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.- Gen. Buratai, that those soldiers should be sacked from the army and be prosecuted immediately.” he said.
