The nominees in all 14 categories at Soundcity MVP 2016 have been announced with tickets on sale and voting on going since the official announcement via @SOUNDCITYtv social media accounts and soundcitymvp.com website went live.  Social media, blogs and radio banter have ensued and nominees calling fans to action for votes.


The maiden edition of the Soundcity MVP Awards Festival supported by Coca-Cola, Etisalat, Guinness & UBA is set to be a premier music showcase to hold in Lagos on the 29th of December where the annual music award festival would honour the continent’s finest music talent in key categories, as they battle for the music industry’s highest honour – a statuette at #TheMVPs.

The Soundcity MVP Awards Festival (#TheMVPs) is set to move African music forward. Aside giving established artistes further maximum exposure – recognising musical excellence across all genres, as well as paying tribute to the various facets of musical production including production and video production, #TheMVPs will also be the hotspot for emerging artistes and talents seeking to break into the African music industry through a #DISCOVER platform that will be launched at the event.

Martins was said to have fasted for three days without water or food. Rev Father Martins after 3 days dry fasting underwent torture in the hands of soldiers He also underwent torture for up to seven kilometers under the sun to liberate the people of God from the devil in this 2017. A Facebook user shared the photos and video below with the caption: “Believe it or not,he did it for our living souls to prosper. All is not well inside the Turkish International School, Isheri (a border between Lagos & Ogun state). Multiple sources have sent mails to LIB about the on-going pandemonium in the school. One of the mails we got reads, 'Gunmen / kidnappers storm Turkish international school along Ibadan express way and have made away with 6 school girls as I write to you now there is pandemonium in the school. Thanks'. Now, a new report on Vanguard confirms the reports saying, 'five persons, three students and two members of staff of the Turkish International School, Isheri, were Friday night kidnapped. Details of their abduction were sketchy as at time of filling this report. The school could not be reached for comments as the telephone of its Information Officer, Cema Yigit’s was switched off when a reporter called by 11.30pm'.
